Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy Bolton is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician/Accuracy Checking Technician to join our team. You’ll dispense medicines, support patient care and help ensure safe, accurate pharmacy services in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll need an NVQ or equivalent, registration with the GPhC, and commitment to CPD. We offer flexible hours (minimum 12–16 per week) and a pathway to professional development within our community-focused store.

Qualifications

A Pharmacy Technician/Accuracy Checking Technician NVQ (or equivalent).
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician/Accuracy Checking Technician.
Proof of completion of a recognised training course for an Accuracy Checking Technician/Pharmacy Technician.
Proof of annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
Offer conditional on providing bank details before start date.

Responsibilities

Supporting the management of one of Tesco's new modern Pharmacies.
Accurately dispensing medicines and maintaining attention to detail.
Talking to customers and offering information in a confident, friendly and professional manner.
Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available.
Ensuring dispensary routines and SOPs are followed.
Maintaining a clean and orderly dispensary and consulting rooms.
