Overview

Are you looking for an exciting and challenging new role? You will join the Pharmacy team at East Kent University NHS Foundation Trust, working in a dynamic department at William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

We have opportunities for Pharmacy Technicians looking for a new challenge, supporting the supply of medication to our Inpatients and Outpatients and helping to facilitate patient discharges.

Responsibilities

• Support the busy dispensary team and ensure the timely supply of medications to inpatients and outpatients.
• Assist with facilitating patient discharges where appropriate.
• Contribute to the hospital transformation programme as part of the new approach to working.

Qualifications

• BTEC National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Science or an equivalent qualification.
• NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Standards or an equivalent qualification.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Ability to work towards Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician accreditation.
