Penrose Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician/Dispenser to join our patient-centred team. You will manage prescription workflows, monitor medications, and support audits across our practices, working closely with Pharmacists, GPs and the wider clinical team.

Qualifications

• Must have worked as a Dispenser in GP Practice or busy community pharmacy OR be a registered Pharmacy Technician
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
• Clear, confident and collaborative communication with patients and colleagues

Responsibilities

• Managing prescription workflows - keeping everything safe, smooth, and on time.
• Monitoring medications and supporting audits - ensuring patient safety.
• Handling prescription queries and maintaining clear communication.
• Liaising with pharmacies and hospitals to align on patient care.
• Processing clinical letters and converting paperwork into action.
• Supporting audits and medicines optimisation to reduce waste and improve care.
• Contributing to cost-effective prescribing practices.
• Managing stock of emergency drugs to ensure availability.
• Collaborating with the wider MDT to deliver high-quality community care.
