This role combines patient interaction with practical pharmacy skills, offering opportunities for career progression. We are offering an opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians to join our Clinical Team. This essential role provides the opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to put their skills into practice, working with innovative technology and systems, whilst also continuing to build further skills for future career progression. You will participate in the medicines reconciliation process, supply of medication during Inpatient stay, support effective and timely discharge and patient counselling. This role offers many opportunities to interact with patients and their carers, as well as the wider multidisciplinary team. We actively encourage interest from Pharmacy Technicians across all sectors and have a wealth of experience within the team to support transition from other sectors of pharmacy towards hospital pharmacy. We welcome applications from pre‑registration Trainee Pharmacy technicians completing their qualification within the next three months. Entry level will be at a Band 4 (unless already Band 5) – previous experience, qualification and accreditations will be considered. Candidates will be regraded to Band 5 once in‑house accreditation completed.
