Skills 4 Pharmacy is recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

You will gain hands-on experience in managing medicines, stock control and patient advice. The apprenticeship offers Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship training with the aim of enabling registration with the GPhC on successful completion.

Formación

• Keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• The willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Support the safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines while working closely with pharmacists and the healthcare team.
• Manage, order, receive and supply medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Provide person-centred advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
• Support day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance.
• Supervise and support pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role.
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff.
• Maintain high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback.
