Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team, supporting safe and lawful supply of medicines and working with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team.

You will train through a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, aimed at registering with the GPhC on completion. GCSEs in Maths and English are desirable, and you will develop skills in stock control, patient advice and audits.

Qualifications

• A keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Willingness to commit to the full length of the apprenticeship.
• GCSEs in Maths and English desirable but not essential.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines.
• Order, receive and supply medicines and pharmaceuticals safely.
• Provide person-centred advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines.
• Assist with stock control, audits and governance.
• Supervise and support staff as you progress.
