A family-oriented medical practice in the UK is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to manage incoming prescriptions and optimize medication usage. Join a supportive team that includes partners and healthcare assistants, contributing to the healthcare of nearly 6000 patients. The ideal candidate should be trained in Pharmacy Technician work and knowledgeable in primary care. This role offers the chance to be part of a training practice that emphasizes collaboration and professional growth.
The opportunity to join a family orientated team in a new position within the practice, working at both the main surgery in South Shields as well as the branch site in Jarrow.
Taking control of incoming prescription requests, meds optimisation & second line monitoring requirements to enable safe and effective medication provision, along with contributions towards wider team and medication effectiveness via audits and other related work. Warm & welcoming smaller practice of just under 6000 patients. 3 Partners, 2 long term locum GP's, PM and APM, Nurse with 2 x HCA's and 8 non-clinical staff all contribute to the surgery aims. The surgery is also a training practice, currently enjoying the benefits and learning pathway of an ST1.
A new to practice role which will see an integrated and supportive team help settle the chosen candidate.
