Job summary

A leading health services organization is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Wessex Hospital. You'll manage in-house pharmacy services, ensuring patient safety and quality care. Job description

Pharmacy Technician – Wessex Hospital (Nuffield Health), Permanent, Full Time. Salary up to £29,500 per annum (depending on experience). 37.5 hours per week.

Job responsibilities

• Provide in‑house pharmacy services to wards and departments, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.
• Manage procurement, distribution, stock‑taking and replenishment of pharmacy items.
• Conduct final accuracy checks and dispense medications as required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Service or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Society.
• Good IT, literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

Experience

Experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting is required. Community pharmacy technicians are also welcome to apply.
