St John & St Elizabeth Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team. You will be responsible for accurate dispensing for inpatients, outpatients and ward top-ups, with duties across dispensary, procurement, stock control and medicines distribution.

You will counsel patients, provide advice, and support vaccinations as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Hospital experience and GPhC registration are essential.

Qualificações

• BTEC in Pharmaceutical Services or NVQ Level 3 in pharmacy services or equivalent.
• Registration with the GPhC is required.
• Hospital or community pharmacy experience preferred.

This Pharmacy Technician post sits in the pharmacy team at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, a charitable private hospital that has recently extended its service. The core of the work is accurate, efficient dispensing for inpatients, outpatients and ward top-ups, alongside dispensary, stock control and medicines distribution. The pharmacy is registered, so there is regular patient contact, including counselling and enhanced services such as vaccinations. Registration with the GPhC and experience in a hospital or community pharmacy decide fit.

• Good written and oral communication skills
