A healthcare organization is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join the prison healthcare team at HMP Cardiff. This exciting role involves providing pharmaceutical care to a diverse population with chronic health issues. Ideal candidates will hold a Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have NVQ Level 3 in pharmacy services. They should possess good interpersonal skills, be able to maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate flexibility. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable. As a prison Pharmacy Technician and working as part of a skilled and committed Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will have a real opportunity to make a difference to the men who will be accessing healthcare with a wide range of chronic mental and physical health problems, including substance misuse problems.
About the prison
HMP Cardiff is a category B remand prison, with an operational capacity of around 800 located in the centre of Cardiff, with good transport links.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
