NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting a Pharmacy Support Worker to join our aseptic team at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. This permanent full‑time post (36 hours) involves preparing injectable medicines, supporting aseptic dispensing, and maintaining strict environmental monitoring.
You will work as part of a 36‑strong team, with a focus on safety, quality, and patient care, on a 5 days over 7 rota including weekends. PVG check may be required.

Our team aseptically prepare over 50,000 injectable medicine doses per year from our large aseptic suite at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. These items include parenteral nutrition, chemotherapy and clinical trials. In addition we have an MHRA specials license to enable batch manufacture of IV products with an extended expiration date.
We are leading the way in aseptic practice through the use of state‑of‑the‑art technology and providing exceptional training to our staff. We currently have a team of 36 staff including Support Workers, Technicians and Pharmacists who take great pride in delivering critical medicines across Greater Glasgow & Clyde. We are looking for 1 new enthusiastic Pharmacy Support Worker to join our team.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Heath and Care Worker visa. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is unable to provide candidates or employees with a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS).
