Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Support Worker based at Woodland View Hospital.

What You Will Do

The post holder will assist Technicians and Pharmacist in providing a Pharmaceutical Service to patients and staff in NHS Ayrshire & Arran by performing those tasks within the service that require a moderate degree of technical expertise.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
  • You will be required to possess National 5 (or Equivalent) – English, Maths, Chemistry, Biology (A or B pass).
  • Have moderate arithmetic and IT skills.
  • You should have good customer care skills, communication skills (oral and written) and evidence of team working.
  • A Basic Understanding of the Pharmacy Support Worker role and previous pharmacy experience would be desirable.
Hours

10 hours per week working 5 days out of 7.
