Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Twyford to support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and assist customers. You will undertake the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

Key duties include helping with prescriptions under supervision, stock management, and using pharmacy systems. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as training can be provided.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship will be completed alongside the role.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in healthcare and helping people.
