Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is offering an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant role in Hastings. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations while studying for the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship. Training and full support are provided to help you learn on the job.

No prior pharmacy experience is required as the apprenticeship covers training and development within the role, including patient care, stock control, and system use.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow training.

Responsibilities

• Help customers at the medicines counter and answer queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Manage stock, deliveries and keep accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of the team to deliver great customer service.
