Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Technical Officer to join the Pharmacy Sterile Production Unit Team based at the Queens Medical Centre at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH). This role involves working with a dedicated team that formulates, prepares and manufactures medicines for our most vulnerable patients and external customers.

Responsibilities

You will support our manufacturing teams by assisting with stock maintenance, assembling and checking starting materials prior to manufacture, sanitising starting materials prior to transfer into cleanroom environments, and labelling and inspecting finished products. The role requires prioritising work effectively, meeting tight deadlines to achieve targets, and responding to patient and customer needs. You should be able to work under pressure, prioritise and organise workloads, and work alone or as part of a larger team.

Qualifications

Experience or interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing, strong organisational skills, ability to work under pressure, and effective communication in a team environment.
