Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Administrative Professional to support the Medicines Governance, Safety & Quality Team. You will coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes and maintain action logs while supporting data analysis and the production of reports and dashboards.

This role requires GCSEs including English and Maths, strong Microsoft Office skills (Teams, Excel, Outlook), and excellent organisational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in NHS hospital services and/or knowledge of pharmacy services would be desirable, but is not essential.

Job description

As a successful candidate, you will provide essential administrative support to the team, with particular responsibility for coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes and maintaining action logs. You will also support data analysis and management, contribute to the production of reports and dashboards, and manage and respond to enquiries received by the team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and highly organised individual to join our Pharmacy Medicines Governance, Safety & Quality Team at BHFT.

Our team supports the Pharmacy Department and the wider Trust on all matters relating to medicines governance, with patient safety at the heart of everything we do. The Pharmacy Department is large, innovative and continually developing, offering excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.

Medicines safety and continuous improvement are our absolute priorities. To support this important agenda, we are seeking a committed, skilled and dynamic individual with excellent administrative, data management and communication skills.

As an Administrative Professional within our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our departmental and organisational safety priorities. You will work closely with colleagues across the Pharmacy Department and the wider Trust, helping to ensure that medicines governance processes are effectively coordinated, monitored and continuously improved.
