Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant Technical Officer. You will assist in dispensing prescriptions and managing medicines within the main dispensary and outpatient pharmacy settings. The ideal candidate requires previous experience in a pharmacy environment, a recognized dispensing qualification, and good communication skills. You will participate in a rotation and may need to work weekends and evenings. This role offers a salary between £24,937 and £26,598 per annum pro rata.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working in a Pharmacy environment.
• Demonstrable understanding of procedures with role-based training up to NVQ level 3.
• Experience of working with computer systems in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Label and dispense prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients.
• Prepare extemporaneous medicines and manage returns.
• Provide a ward-based dispensing service as needed.
