Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and provide advice to patients to help them manage their medicines safely and effectively.

This role is based in-store in the UK; remote applications are not considered and UK right-to-work is required. You will have the chance to train further, potentially becoming a Pharmacy Technician or progressing within the store leadership team.

Qualifications

• Completed Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or is working towards) or first year of MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work; sponsorship not offered.
• Experience in community pharmacy is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer to the Pharmacist when needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Assist in managing repeats and promote adherence to reduce waste.
