Job summary

Rowlands Pharmacy in Waterlooville is seeking a motivated pharmacy assistant to join our community-focused team. You will support branch processes, interact with customers and healthcare professionals, and help deliver pharmacy services with care and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services (or MCA) and demonstrate strong confidentiality, excellent communication, and a proactive, patient-centered approach to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or accredited equivalent
• Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification
• Evidence of qualifications held will be required
• Experience in a customer-focused environment urged for role
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and handling medications accurately

To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course, as well as a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification. Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.

Additionally, we are looking for candidates with experience working in a customer-focused environment, a strong understanding of confidentiality, and the ability to handle medications accurately.
