Job summary

Cohens Chemist in Liverpool is seeking a 40-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract at our Bootle branch. You will gain the knowledge and skills to complete the Counter Course and NVQ level 2 in dispensing.

Duties include dispensing and labeling under supervision, assisting with stock management in the dispensary and shop, and delivering high standards of customer service in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Willing to undertake the relevant training to progress.
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurate dispensing and labeling of prescription items under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with ordering and stock management within the dispensary and shop.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Provide high standards of customer service as part of a well‑established team.
