Job summary

A university teaching NHS trust in London is seeking a full-time pharmacy assistant. Applicants should have good GCSEs or an equivalent and be working towards an NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services. Qualifications

• Pharmacy assistants without NVQ level 2 will be considered but must work towards it for band progression.

Responsibilities

• Use Pharmacy computer system to produce picking lists and supply drugs.
• Perform daily temperature monitoring as required.
• Assist in dispensing medicines to inpatients and outpatients.
• Work on reception receiving prescriptions and handling payment.
• Deal with enquiries from patients and healthcare staff.
