A prominent London NHS Trust seeks a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to support various pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have good GCSEs and an NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services or be working towards it. Key responsibilities include dispensing medicines, monitoring temperatures, and assisting with patient inquiries. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with a commitment to professional development.
This is a full time post fixed term for 12 months and the post holder will be required to participate in the weekend & bank holiday rota.

Pharmacy assistants without a NVQ level 2 in pharmacy service skills will be considered but will be expected to work towards this as band 2 to 3 progression. You will need to have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a large multi-disciplinary team. You will also need to be friendly, approachable, adaptable, flexible, willing to learn new skills and be committed to continuous professional development. The department actively promotes development, education and training.
