A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer to join their team. This role includes working in various Pharmacy duties, such as delivering medications and maintaining stock. Candidates must have a GCSE education level and be willing to train towards NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy services. The position offers a structured shift pattern that includes weekends and bank holidays.

Royal Lancaster Infirmary Pharmacy department is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to become part of our team.
You must be able to work as a team member and on an individual basis and although Pharmacy experience is not essential for this post, you must be willing to work towards an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy services.
Hours of work are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9.30 to 18:00 with participation in rotational weekend and bank holiday rota.
Shifts will be allocated 6 weeks in advance.
The main duties of the role involve working in a busy Pharmacy department ensuring a safe and effective service is provided. Main duties include:
We operate from three main hospitals - Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre. FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services. WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life-threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses. All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay. Our community services for adults are provided in people's homes, community centres, clinics, GP Practices, community hospitals and our main hospitals. Our aim is to work with people to help them remain independent, improve their health and manage their conditions through high quality care, advice and support.
