Job summary

Davidson’s Chemists in Milnathort is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our community team. This part-time role (13.75 hours per week) covers 2pm–6pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 9am–12:30pm on alternate Saturdays, supporting the Pharmacist at the counter and in dispensary.

You’ll help ensure safe, accurate supply of medicines, advise on minor ailments, and support patient care while gaining NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant training.

Our community pharmacy in Milnathort is looking for a motivated new team member!

This is a part-time position for 13.75 hours per week on average, working 2pm - 6pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays as well as 9am - 12.30pm every second Saturday.

At Davidson’s Chemists, the role of a Pharmacy Assistant is vital in delivering exceptional patient care. Pharmacy Assistants work both at the healthcare counter and within the dispensary, supporting other team members under the guidance of the Pharmacist. They help ensure the safe, accurate, and timely supply of prescribed medications to patients. Pharmacy Assistants also offer advice on common illnesses and minor ailments, recommend over-the-counter treatments where suitable, and provide lifestyle guidance to promote healthier living. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll interact with a diverse group of individuals and play an essential role as part of the pharmacy and local healthcare team.
