Summary

Responsibilities
  • Receiving Goods: Accept and sign for all goods arriving at the pharmacy, ensuring they match delivery notes and orders, excluding controlled drugs which must be verified by a pharmacist.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify any issues with deliveries and implement appropriate corrective actions in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including batch numbers and expiry dates, both manually and in the pharmacy computer system, ensuring a reliable audit trail for product recall or finance department queries.
  • Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 5.30pm (1-hour lunch break)
  • Rotational Weekends & Bank Holidays: 9.00am to 5.00pm (30-minute lunch break)
