Job summary

Allied Pharmacy on Hessle Road is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join a friendly team dedicated to delivering high-quality care to the local community. You’ll welcome customers and support daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of the pharmacist.

Your duties include dispensing assistance, handling OTC sales, stock management, and maintaining records while ensuring confidentiality and safety standards. Training toward a recognised pharmacy qualification will be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the pharmacy and provide friendly, helpful service at the counter.
• Assist with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Handle over-the-counter sales and offer advice on common medicines within your scope of training.
• Manage stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries, checking expiry dates and keeping shelves well presented.
• Maintain accurate records and support the smooth day-to-day running of the pharmacy.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and follow all relevant health, safety and regulatory standards.
