Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and assembling medicines in stock distribution.
• Pharmacy stores receiving and processing orders.
• Manning the reception within the dispensary, speaking to staff and patients and dealing with queries.
• Supplying medicines to wards and departments by means of a top-up.
• Picking intravenous fluids.
• Duties within sterile preparation suites.
• Delivery of medication to wards and departments.
• Replenishing specialist emergency boxes.
• Participate in established Bank Holiday and Weekend Rotas until the introduction of 7 day working when contracted hours will be undertaken over 7 days.
