Skills4Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Cheltenham. You will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, help customers, and work closely with the team to ensure safe and efficient service while training for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Training and support are provided; no previous pharmacy experience is required. Typical duties include counter assistance, prescription handling under supervision, stock control, and using pharmacy systems.

Brief Description

GL51 0LH. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role
