Job summary

Skills4Group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Boston to support the daily running of the pharmacy and engage with customers. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your duties, with full training and support provided.

The role involves advising customers, handling prescriptions under supervision, stock control, and using pharmacy systems. Commitment to contracted hours and learning is required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs A-C (4-9) in Maths and English desirable; course can provide maths/English if needed.
• Maths/English Level 2 tests may be required to determine suitability for the course.
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship will be completed alongside work.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Brief Description

PE21 0PD We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role
