Job summary

Day Lewis Pharmacy in Sheffield (S14 1FX) is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser to join our busy community team on a 37.5 hour week. You will work with our Pharmacist Manager to provide an efficient dispensing service, support patients at the counter, and help deliver services while building strong relationships with patients and local healthcare professionals.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services and prior pharmacy experience, and the successful candidate will be friendly,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pharmacy and dispensing prescriptions.
• NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services or equivalent is essential.
• Friendly and welcoming, team player, reliable and organised, and committed to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient and friendly dispensing service.
• Assist patients and customers at the pharmacy counter.
• Assist with the delivery of pharmacy services.
• Build relationships with patients and local healthcare professionals.

What you'll be doing

Working alongside our Pharmacist Manager and pharmacy team, you'll:

• Help provide an efficient and friendly dispensing service

• Assist with the delivery of pharmacy services
• Build great relationships with patients and local healthcare professionals
• Help ensure the pharmacy follows company policies and procedures
• Work together with your colleagues to provide the best possible experience for our patients

What we're looking for

You’ll ideally have previous experience working in a pharmacy and dispensing prescriptions.

An NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services qualification or equivalent is essential.
