Job summary

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our hospital outpatient pharmacy team. You will dispense medications on outpatient prescriptions, manage stock, and handle invoicing and deliveries within a busy outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent, plus a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification, and demonstrate patient-focused service while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

Job description

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you considered working in a hospital outpatient pharmacy?

Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the {Branch Name} hospital pharmacy.

You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues. Duties

will include dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions, stock ordering and management, invoicing and financing deliveries, as well as all other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy.

To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course, as well as a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification. Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.

Additionally, we are looking for candidates with experience working in a customer-focused environment, a strong understanding of confidentiality, and the ability to handle medications accurately.
