Job summary

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) is seeking an Administration Pharmacy Technician to support medicines reconciliation and medicines management within inpatient services. The role focuses on improving medicines safety and independence in medicines administration.

You will work with patients and multi-disciplinary teams to transfer pharmaceutical care across primary and secondary care interfaces, and to develop the administration technician role for patient

Qualifications

• Registered with the GPhC and post-qualification pharmacy practice.
• Experience in medicines management and dispensing within clinical settings.
• Knowledge of legal and procedural requirements for medicines.

Responsibilities

• Medicines reconciliation on admission and discharge.
• Stock control and medicine safety oversight.
• Provide training and support to ward staff.
• Conduct audits and drive service improvements.
• Promote professional practice and teamwork.
• Ensure patient care and safety in medicine handling.
