We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our expanding pharmacy team. The team at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust comprises of approximately 500 pharmacy staff working across five sites and is one of the biggest pharmacy departments in the country.

Responsibilities
  • To provide administrative support to the Pharmacy department and maintain the day‑to‑day running of the Pharmacy office.
  • To undertake all duties according to the procedures and policies of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Pharmacy Department.
  • To deal with sensitive and confidential issues from Pharmacy staff and take action as appropriate, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • To work independently and be competent in covering an office.

Qualifications
  • Essential: GCSE at Grade 4/C in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications) or equivalent experience.
  • Desirable: NVQ Level II in Business Administration / Customer Service / IT.
Experience
  • Essential: Experience of working within an office environment.
  • Essential: Experience of working in a public facing role.
  • Desirable: Relevant experience within the NHS.
Further Training
  • Essential: Knowledge of / experience of using information and/or customer service systems.
  • Essential: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Desirable: Experience using ESR and other pharmacy specific systems.
