Job summary

Lincolnshire Co-op is seeking a Checking Technician to ensure every prescription is accurate before it reaches the patient. You will apply your pharmacy knowledge and professional judgement to perform final accuracy checks on dispensed prescriptions, verifying medication, labelling, dosage and patient information.

Responsibilities

• Carry out final accuracy checks on dispensed prescriptions ensuring correct medication, labelling, dosage and patient information.
• Review prescriptions to identify anomalies or incomplete information and resolve concerns with prescribers or colleagues.
• Support stock management and quality checks within the pharmacy to maintain a safe, organised service.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
