Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Pennard, Swansea.

This community pharmacy is located in a coastal area close to the city centre. Pennard is a village on the south of the Gower Peninsula, about 7 miles southwest of Swansea. It has a close relationship with the GP surgery/health centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• Dispenses 1000 items a week
• Provides a wide range of services including CAS, inhaler review, DMR, Flu, Covid, and IP
• Dispenses 17 community blisters

Pharmacy hours:

• Monday: 08:45-13:00, 14:00-18:00
• Tuesday: 09:00-13:00, 14:00-18:00
• Wednesday: 08:45-13:00
• Thursday: 08:45-13:00, 14:00-18:00
• Friday: 08:45-13:00, 14:00-18:00
• Saturday: 09:00-12:00
• Sunday: Closed

You will manage 3 direct reports, including an accuracy checker.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must have an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience. You should be focused on delivering excellent community pharmacy services and have your GPhC registration upon start date.
