Pharmacist: Community Pharmacy Research Liaison (9-month)

Job summary

A large acute teaching Trust is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to engage community pharmacies in primary care research. You will be responsible for assisting in identifying suitable research studies and building networks among pharmacists. A Master's in Pharmacy and GPhC registration are required, alongside demonstrable experience in related specialties. The role is a short-term 9-month contract with a salary range of £47,810 to £54,710 per annum.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• GPhC registration mandatory.
• Experience working within a surgical or medical speciality.

Responsibilities

• Review the current NIHR portfolio for community pharmacy involvement.
• Build a network of research-interested community pharmacists.
• Support pharmacy staff awareness of research capacity.

Skills

Sound knowledge of a surgical or medical speciality

Experience of teaching and tutoring

Audit and evaluative work

Sound understanding of healthcare priorities

Education

Masters Degree in Pharmacy

Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience
