Job summary

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist for their Rushden branch, located at Parklands Medical Centre. The role involves dispensing, patient counselling, and collaborating with GP staff to ensure high-quality care. The branch uses Medipac robotics and ProScript Connect for prescriptions.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Commitment to patient care and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimise patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory.
• Provide immunization services (where applicable).
• Advise on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
