A health services provider in Launceston is seeking a Pharmacist to deliver pharmacy services for hospital inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, providing medication information, and professional development opportunities. The position offers a competitive salary between $73,834 to $111,364 per annum, plus additional benefits and allowances.
Statewide Hospital Pharmacy operates Pharmacy services at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH). The LGH is Tasmania’s second largest hospital and the major referral centre for Northern Tasmania. It provides inpatient and ambulatory services to Launceston the surrounding areas and has 349 inpatient beds onsite. Work as a part of the relevant LGH’s Pharmacy Department and Pharmacy Team to provide a comprehensive, efficient, and accountable pharmacy service for hospital inpatients and outpatients.

Multiple permanent full time and part time, shift worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
$73,834 to $111,364 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
