Job Description
  • Accurately dispense prescription medications while ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on the safe use of prescribed and over-the-counter medicines.
  • Manage stock levels efficiently to meet customer needs and minimise wastage.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Ensure all pharmacy operations adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records, including controlled drug registers and patient medication records.
  • Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and trainees in their daily tasks.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to build trust and loyalty within the Plymouth or the wider South West community.
The Successful Applicant

A successful pharmacist should have:

  • A recognised qualification in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Previous experience working in a retail or healthcare environment.
  • A strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
