Job summary

Boots UK in England is seeking a pharmacist to join our community-focused store team. You will use your clinical expertise daily, alongside a brilliant team and tools, to deliver trusted care, advice and services.

You will lead patient safety and pharmacy compliance, deliver NHS and private services, mentor teammates, and represent Boots within the local community and with healthcare professionals. A passion for high-quality care and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC).
• Proven experience delivering NHS and private pharmacy services.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead professional standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance.
• Monitor and improve standards of care and safety.

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering NHS, locally commissioned, and private services using both in-store and digital tools
• Leading professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance
• Monitoring, evaluating, and continually improving standards of care and safety
• Working with the Store Manager to develop the capability of the wider healthcare team
• Growing talent that reflects the communities we serve; coaching, mentoring and supporting your colleagues every step of the way.
• Representing Boots within the local community and with healthcare professionals

What You’ll Need To Have (our Must-haves)

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience leading patient and customer care within a pharmacy setting
• Passion for delivering essential, advanced, and private services
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and an eagerness to coach and guide others

It would be great if you also have

• Experience in enhanced services
• A strong understanding of local clinical networks
