The hospital is located with excellent transport links by road and rail, both to and from London, Thames Valley, and the Midlands.

Main duties of the job
  • Join our talented multidisciplinary team
  • Be the trusted Medicines Management Lead for our hospital
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care and advice where it's needed
  • Offer services to a range of departments, including the pre-assessment clinic, outpatient department, ward and theatres
  • Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Educate patients on the proper use of prescribed medications
  • Conduct medication reconciliation and drug utilisation reviews
  • Document clinical interventions and outcomes
  • Provide drug information and training to healthcare staff and patients
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, national regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and medication safety programs
  • Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors
Qualifications
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and disease management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Experience

Post‑qualification experience in a clinical pharmacy setting is required.
