As a Pharmacist at our hospital,you’ll be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and you’ll have proven post-qualification experience. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for optimising medication therapy and promoting safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug use within the hospital. The role involves direct patient care and collaboration with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to improve treatment outcomes and minimise medication‑related problems.

Asa Pharmacist,youwill:

• Join our talented multidisciplinary team
• Be the trusted Medicines Management Lead for our hospital
• Deliver high‑quality clinical care and advice where it’s needed
• Offer services to a range of departments, including the pre‑assessment clinic, outpatient department, ward and theatres
• Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Educate patients on the proper use of prescribed medications
• Conduct medication reconciliation and drug utilisation reviews
• Document clinical interventions and outcomes
• Provide drug information and training to healthcare staff and patients
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, national regulations, and accreditation standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and medication safety programs
• Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors

Asa Pharmacist,youwill have:
