About the role

What if your next pharmacy role gave you the opportunity to make a genuine difference to people's health every day, build trusted relationships within your community, and develop your career with a pharmacy group that puts people at the heart of everything it does?

At Lincolnshire Co‑op, we believe community pharmacy is about much more than dispensing prescriptions.

Our pharmacies are at the heart of local communities, providing expert clinical care, accessible health services and trusted advice to the people we serve. Whether you're supporting someone with a long‑term condition, delivering a vaccination, or simply offering reassurance and guidance, you'll play an important role in improving the health and wellbeing of your community.

As a Pharmacist, you'll use your clinical expertise to deliver outstanding patient care, support the growth of pharmacy services, and help create a positive experience for every person who walks through our doors.

What will you be doing?

As a Pharmacist, you'll combine your professional knowledge with a caring and patient‑focused approach to deliver safe, effective and high-quality healthcare services.

About you

You may already be an experienced community pharmacist, or you might be looking for a role where you can further develop your clinical skills and broaden your impact within local healthcare.

What matters most to us is your passion for delivering excellent patient care and making a positive difference within your community.

You’ll probably recognise yourself in this if:

  • You're a qualified pharmacist with a Master's degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • You have confidence in delivering pharmacy services and providing professional clinical advice.
  • You enjoy building trusted relationships with patients, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
  • You're committed to providing safe, accurate and compassionate care in every interaction.
  • You communicate effectively and can explain healthcare information in a clear and supportive way.
  • You're organised and able to manage the demands of a busy community pharmacy environment.
  • You're committed to maintaining high standards of patient safety, governance and regulatory compliance.
  • You're proactive, enthusiastic and always looking for ways to improve service and patient outcomes.
  • You're committed to your own continuing professional development and keeping your clinical knowledge up to date.
  • You're motivated by the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the health and wellbeing of the communities you serve.

Whether you're an experienced pharmacist or looking for your next opportunity in community pharmacy, we'd love to hear from you.

Why this role matters

Community pharmacies are an essential part of local healthcare.

Every day, people rely on us for expert advice, reassurance, treatment and support. As a Pharmacist, you'll be at the heart of that service, helping people stay healthy, manage their conditions and access the care they need.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence:

  • How patients experience their local pharmacy.
  • How clinical and healthcare services are delivered within your community.
  • How patients understand and manage their medicines.
  • How local healthcare professionals work together to support positive patient outcomes.
  • How your pharmacy contributes to the health and wellbeing of its local community.

Most importantly, you'll help us deliver on our purpose of bringing together ideas, energy and resources to make life better in our communities.

What you'll get in return

Alongside the opportunity to make a genuine difference to people's lives, you'll receive:

  • Up to 34 days annual leave (pro rata), including bank holidays.
  • A pension scheme with up to 12% employer contributions.
  • Generous colleague discounts across our family of businesses.
  • Annual discretionary performance‑based bonuses.
  • Full reimbursement of your GPhC fees.
  • Access to a wide range of professional development opportunities.
  • Opportunities to work as a Clinical Pharmacist or Independent Prescriber within GP surgeries and community hospitals.
  • Free tea and coffee during rest breaks.
  • Wellbeing support and community engagement opportunities.

We're also proud to be an Investors in People Platinum employer, recognising our commitment to helping colleagues learn, develop and build rewarding careers.

Through our close partnership with the University of Lincoln School of Pharmacy, you'll also have access to unique development opportunities, with some of our pharmacists working as Teacher Practitioners to support the next generation of pharmacy professionals.

You've probably seen Pharmacist roles before.

But we’re looking for pharmacists who want to do more than simply dispense prescriptions.

This is an opportunity to be part of your community, build meaningful relationships, provide expert healthcare advice, and make a real difference to people’s lives every day.

If that sounds like the kind of pharmacy career you’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
