We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham.
This post is a brand new post to join an expanding, dynamic and supportive team, working alongside some of the UK’s leading consultants in a world-class environment equipped with cutting-edge technology. The Harborne Hospital delivers a wide range of specialist services including oncology, haematology, rheumatology, cardiology, and gastroenterology—caring for adult patients across complex pathways.
As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will provide high quality, patient focused, clinical pharmacy services which consistently meet the needs of all service users. You will be responsible for working across all aspects of the core pharmacy services across a broad range of clinical specialties, which may include provision of medicines management, advice and evidence-based practice to inpatients and outpatients, patient and/or aseptic services and assist with the quality, governance, and assurance of pharmacy services across campus.
You will be involved in the continuous service and professional development, audit and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also be involved and participate in relevant Quality Improvement Project(s) (QIPs).
You will be integral in providing training, education and mentorship to technical staff.
