Overview
Due to business growth, we are expanding our Aseptic Services Unit. As an Aspeptic Nights Stager / Operative, you will be responsible for sterilising machines and rooms ready for the next day\'s production in the Aseptic Services Unit. This role is 37.5 hours per week, Sunday-Thursday, 10pm – 6am, based in Runcorn. Fresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company that specializes in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition. Our product portfolio includes a comprehensive range of IV generic drugs, infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products, as well as medical devices for administering these products.
Responsibilities
- Work within the Aseptic suite, be gowned to the required standards and follow the company standard operating procedures.
 - Strip down the EM2400 machine prior to cleaning activities, dispose of waste as per SOPs, and perform line clearance at the end of production.
 - Prepare the Grade B rooms for the cleaning of the Grade A cabinets and isolators.
 - Clean the Grade A cabinets and EM2400 machines according to the defined method and complete all necessary paperwork.
 - Transfer the ingredients and inlets into the Grade A cabinet per SOP, ready for a compounder to spike.
 - Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) for the following day\'s EM2400 production.
 - Ensure cleaning of the Aseptic suite is completed before entry into Grade B.
 - Work to a production plan and deliver batches to the compounding schedule.
 - Transfer raw materials for production into the compounding suites.
 - Ensure all cleaning activities are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with SOPs.
 - Ensure the appropriate disposal of waste from the compounding/manufacturing area in line with current procedures.
 - Record and communicate any issues affecting quality or efficiency.
 
Qualifications
- Organised and able to work independently or as part of a team to deliver a plan.
 - Trained in manual handling procedures.
 - Health & Safety awareness, including COSHH familiarity.
 - A good understanding of cGMP requirements.
 - Basic verbal and written communication skills.
 - Gmp/pharmaceutical manufacturing experience or aseptic units experience is beneficial but not essential.
