Role Overview

Our client, a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Administrator to join their team in the Oxford area. As the Pharmaceutical Administrator you will play a crucial role in supporting the business unit through a variety of administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and effective interfacing both internally and externally.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Raise purchase orders for materials as requested by the team, ensuring suppliers are approved where appropriate. Keep office supplies stocked and maintain accurate records.
  2. Act as the main point of contact for site liaison, including receiving guests, signing them in, issuing and reconciling guest passes, and managing deliveries and off‑site equipment maintenance.
  3. Provide customer support by receiving and processing customer orders, advising customers of any production issues, and maintaining open communication.
  4. Support in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) documents in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, including filing scanned digital documents, logging updates, and issuing forms.
Role Requirements
  1. Relevant experience with administration as well as strong computer skills.
  2. Proven industry experience in a similar administrative role within the pharmaceutical sector.
  3. A working knowledge and practical experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
