Job summary

TSA Surveying Ltd are seeking an experienced PFI Consultant to join their team, offering a permanent role with home-based work and national travel across the UK. The role combines desktop technical advisory, handback surveys and client-facing site work on operational PFI projects.

Applicants should have a background in Building Surveying or related engineering disciplines, with strong analytical and report-writing skills and a willingness to travel nationwide for site inspections.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the PFI/PPP sector.
• Experience in technical advisory, handback, asset management, lifecycle or operational PFI work.
• Strong understanding of operational PFI contracts and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience in technical surveys, condition assessments or similar would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Technical background in Building Surveying, Facilities Management, Building Services, Asset Management, Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Comfortable traveling nationally for site-based work.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory services to clients across operational PFI projects.
• Undertake handback surveys, condition assessments and technical reviews.
• Carry out desktop reviews of project documentation, existing surveys and contractual requirements.
• Undertake site inspections across England and prepare clear technical reports.
• Review lifecycle planning, asset condition and maintenance requirements.
• Identify technical and operational issues and provide practical recommendations.
• Work directly with clients, SPVs, FM providers and other project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the business's centre of best practice for handback surveys.
