A UK-based project management company is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee Total Facilities Management (TFM) across three secondary schools in Peterborough. The ideal candidate should have experience with PFI contracts and lifecycle fund management, along with strong negotiation and leadership skills. This position offers a competitive salary of c£50k – £55k plus car allowance, with a succession plan for promotion in place.

We are looking for an Operations Manager with PFI contracts experience to oversee TFM across three secondary schools in Peterborough. The contract is 13 years old with 17 years left; the schools hold a lifecycle fund and are currently spending £1.2m a year, managed via a central lifecycle projects team.
Reporting line: this role will manage a Hard services manager, Soft services manager, Compliance manager and 12 caretakers.
Required skills and experience:
Succession plan in place for promotion over the next couple of years for the right person.
