Job summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council’s Preparing for Adulthood (PFA) Team is recruiting a permanent social worker. The post supports people as they move into adulthood, offers advice and guidance, and works with providers, carers and families to shape commissioned services. Hybrid working is available and posts are pitched at Bands H to J depending on experience.

You must be a qualified social worker and pass an enhanced DBS check. Registration with Social Work England is required.

• Enabling people to take positive risks and lead good lives.
• Working collaboratively with professionals, organisations, providers, carers and families.
• Helping to drive the Preparing for Adulthood programme forward.
• Shaping the commissioning of services.
