Vergo Pest Management Ltd. is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our Reading team. The role offers full training and the chance to work across residential and commercial settings, delivering effective pest control with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

You will visit a mix of properties in Reading, carry out inspections, treatments and preventative work, and use mobile apps to record visits and generate reports. A full UK driving licence is required.

We are looking for a Pest Control Technician to join our team in Reading

Whether you already have experience or are looking to start a new, hands-on career, this is a great opportunity to build practical skills while working in a role where no two days are the same. Full training is provided for those new to the industry, so we’re keen to hear from individuals with the right attitude, initiative and work ethic.

The role

Working in Reading, you’ll visit a mix of commercial and residential properties helping customers manage and prevent pest issues.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out inspections, treatments and preventative work
• Delivering a high standard of customer service
• Managing your own schedule and working independently day-to-day
• Using mobile apps to record visits and complete reports
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional support or services

This is a varied and active role where you’ll be out in the field, building relationships with customers and making a real, visible difference.

Salary & earning potential

• Up to £29,500 basic salary (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Plus up to £2,750.00 RegionalAllowance
• Opportunity to earn up to an additional £6,000 through commission, leads, bonuses and incentives
• Trainee starting salary: £27,834.98
